Following on from the serious success of last year's sk8 party, SK8 N16, the Stoke Newington Festival's SK8 extravaganza returns for 2002. The name has changed but the spirit remains.
All Live is a threesome of Skateboarding, top British Hip Hop and mind-blowing Digital Video art. Don't sleep on this.

  • SK8 ramps provided by Team Extreme featuring Extreme pro demos throughout the day on both Vert and Street.
  • Full public access Street Course
  • Comps including pro-level, different age groups, female only, most air and best wipe-out categories, all with top merch prizes up for grabs.
  • Hip Hop

    All Live's giant Main Stage, provided by Wango, will feature the best in British Hip Hop all day, Check the selection:

  • Task Force - MC's from Lowlife Records, Chester P and Farma G, close the day with phat beats and killa lyrics.
  • Senser - Original line-up of South London metal / Hip Hop band, live & direct.
  • Jehst - Superb YNR Productions and Lowlife Records Hip Hop artist
  • Tommy Evans - London rapper on YNR Productions
  • Out da Ville - Nottingham based label & artist collective mixing MCin', singin' & beats.
  • Steadybeats - breakbeat crew from Tru Thoughts Records
  • Dirtburg - Stamfordhillmatic set it off funk alliance
  • Sam Seed - Experimental DJ fusin' Hip-Hop, Electronica and Drum & Bass
  • Sin Crew - breakers
  • 12 Stone - Hackney based urban rap crew
  • Est'elle & Skeme - Titan Sounds MC, Skeme & Est'elle host the day but also do their own set
  • Digital Video Art
    Multi-screen VJ and DJ set up Exceeda, featuring DJV:X, VJ Sorted and DJ Tom Guest, create groundbreaking multi-screen visuals on giant plasmas using live digital video feeds from the site and audio-visual sampling. They're gonna film skaters on the street course and vert ramp throughout the day, cut it with graphics, animation, sound and technology into an eyeball burning unique visual and audio performance.     Grass Roots Stage North London's finest up and coming rappers, dancers, poets, singers, DJs, Emcees, lyricists and freestylers take over the Grass Roots stage. Your Destiny bring their successful 'Step up To da Mic' sessions and host a walk up talent slot. In partnership with Ocean's Rising Tide programme.
