Foxx launches album
The Oscar winner, whose impressive singing voice was heard when he played musician Ray Charles in the biopic 'Ray', has begun work on original tracks for the album.
Top recoding artists including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash are said to be desperate to collaborate with him.
Foxx, who is currently filming a big screen version of 'Miami Vice' with Colin Farrell, went into detail about one song that will feature on the album.
The actor revealed that his song Sexy was a plea to women not to have plastic surgery which they didn't need to do to feel sexy.
Earlier this year, the actor revealed his passion in life is women, revealing that girls are far more important to him than money and that his idol is playboy boss Hugh Hefner.
He said: "Give me all the money in the world, it doesn't mean anything compared to the admiration I have for girls.
