Mira Sorvino's pregnancy joy

Actress Mira Sorvino is pregnant with her second child.

The 38-year-old beauty - who won a best supporting actress Oscar for her performance in Woody Allen's 1995 film 'Mighty Aphrodite' - has announcedshe is expecting again with husband Chris Backus.

Sorvino, whose daughter, Mattea Angel, was born in November 2004, admits she is delighted with the happy news and can't wait for Mattea to have a littlebrother or sister to play with.

She said: "I'm so excited that Mattea is going to have a sibling. We'regoing to be a family of four."

Sorvino - who tied the knot with Backus, 24, in June 2004 - also revealedthe baby is due some time this summer.

The actress, the daughter of actor Paul Sorvino, is currently shooting new movie 'Leningrad' - a love story set in the Russian city during the German army's attempt to starve the residents during World War II - but thepregnancy is not expected to affect filming.
