Inside deep throat. A look at a Porn phenomenon. For pure entertainment value this will take some beating. The biggest Porn film success of all time was Deep Throat. This film doesn’t show you the actual film but merely examines the row caused because of it. It was made for $22,000 and then made over $600 million at the Box Office which was some achievement. It fell headlong into controversy, and like all controversial projects that meant big bucks once middle-class America got to hear of it.

This film explores those who were involved in the making of Deep Throa. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know too much about 'Deep Throat' beforehand, its one of those films which is informative and also one of those films where you don’t have to be into porn to get anything out of it.

It’s a good story and examines how controversy can mean good box office. The filmmakers also commendably show how the industry itself has changed full circle since the making of the film - they make the point that its all about $$ signs in 2005 and how the fun element characterized in Deep Throat has largely disappeared. The conflict of attitudes from that time period towards the finished product is also great fun to watch.
