Legendary Chicago house DJ/producer Felix Da Housecat’s first proper album since 2001’s ‘Kittenz and Thee Glitz’ (he also records as Thee Maddkatt Courtship, Aphrohead, and Sharkimaxx), ‘Devin Dazzle & the Neon Fever,’ is club-pop concept album with great beats packed ever so firmly into three-minute tunes. It tells the story of DevinDazzle, a naïve young fellow who falls for the night life, then falls in with a sordid assortment of nefarious-after-dark characters. ‘Devin Dazzle & the Neon Fever’ is a lot of fun, and will no doubt become a guilty pleasure for many.
