Musical duo and authentically cute couple Vincent Cafiso and Tabitha Tindale’s long-anticipated second Joy Zipper album ‘American Whip’ is dreamy, bohemian post-My Bloody Valentine bedroom pop (MBV’s Kevin Shields contributed to the production and/or mixing of several tracks) complete with glowing, ethereal harmonies, blissfully inescapable melodies, and a subtle, bleary-eyed sexiness.Cafiso is a fine songwriter—“Christmas Song” is proof enough of that—but the real revelation here is Tindale’s “Baby You Should Know.”
