Brian and Delta move to NY

Brian McFadden is quitting Britain to live in the US with girlfriend Delta Goodrem.

The former Westlife singer and the Australian star are moving to New York and have reportedly already agreed a price on an apartment.

Brian has suffered a traumatic past few months after splitting from wife Kerry Katona and seeing his debut solo album, 'Irish Son', fail to make any impact in the charts and hopes a move abroad will help him put his troubles behind him.

A friend close to the singer said: "Brian wanted to make a fresh start abroad. He and Delta feel they are getting a raw deal here."

The handsome star has already signed legal papers on a flat in the city's trendy Tribeca region which already houses a number of stars, including REM singer Michael Stipe and Moby.

Earlier this week, Brian and estranged wife Kerry accepted an offer on their £1.7million marital home, in Dublin, and the couple - who have two daughters Molly and Lilly Sue - are currently in the middle of divorce proceedings.
