Britney's man breaks hand

Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline has broken his hand - after spinning out of control on the dance floor.

The professional dancer was seen falling from a podium in trendy Los Angeles nightspot The Spider Club after pulling one too many enthusiastic dance moves.

The 27-year-old, who was recently criticised for leaving Britney looking after their newborn baby while he goes out partying, has been seen wearing a bandage on his left hand ever since.

A fellow reveller revealed: "Britney must have been at home with their baby son and Kevin was messing around dancing with his mates.

The source is quoted as adding in Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He was really going for it, throwing some seriously mad moves, and suddenly he slipped and landed on his butt. But his arm got caught and he has fractured his left hand."

Earlier this month, Britney and Kevin were at the centre of a break-up riddle.

The new mom had reportedly demanded a trial separation and kicked her husband out of their Malibu home after a blazing row over his constant partying, according to US reports.

A source revealed to a US magazine: "Brit's had all she can stand of the problems with Kevin. She explained to him that the split would be temporary, that it would give them some breathing room to sort out their problems.

"Britney's giving it her all to make things work."

However, the pop beauty's spokeswoman, Lesley Sloane Zelnick, insists the couple's marriage is fine.
