Ozzy and Sharon almost split

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he and wife Sharon have come very close to separating in the past.

The rocker, who has three children with Sharon, says their relationship is far from perfect and, like everyone else, they have to work hard at their marriage.

He said: "Sharon and I have come pretty close to going our separate ways on a couple of occasions, but we've managed to sort things out. I'm not going to be one of those people who says they've been living together for 50 years and never had a cross word.

"Some days everything we do p**ses each other off. It's not like we have this idyllic life."

Ozzy recently revealed that the worst moment of his life was when he tried to kill Sharon while high on drugs.

The former Black Sabbath frontman admitted his lowest point was when he came home one night, after a massive drink and drugs binge, and tried to strangle his wife after a vicious argument.

He woke the next morning in a police cell with no memory of the incident.

He said at the time: "The worst thing I did was trying to kill Sharon. I got busted for strangling her and when I woke up in the nick I didn't have a clue why I was there. When the policeman read me the charge, I freaked out."
