Ozzy sells LA "sewer"

Ozzy Osbourne is selling the Los Angeles mansion where MTV's fly-on-the-wall show 'The Osbournes' was filmed.

The asking price for what Ozzy describes as "Beverly Hills most expensive sewer" is GBP6.5million.

The 56-year-old rocker and wife Sharon are selling the famous mansion because their children, Jack, Kelly and Aimee have all left home.

Sharon said: "Our kids have moved out and it's time for us to move on."

MTV filmed three series of the reality TV show at the seven-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion which is set on two-thirds of an acre.

The series gave a warts and all view of the family, showing rows with each other and their neighbours. Ozzy's unique philosophy and disarming honesty won him many new fans.

The show also featured the couple's seven dogs and six cats urinating on floors and furniture.

Now Ozzy and Sharon will be looking for somewhere the pets can enjoy more outdoor space.

Former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy, who also has a mansion near London, says the move is nothing unusual for Sharon and himself.

He said: "Since we've been married, we've rented or bought 27 houses in 23 years - I always say, 'Can't we let the paint dry before we move on?'"
