"He ignores me, what did I do wrong?"
Recently I told one of my guy friends that I like him. At first he was fine with it, and we talked all the time on the phone for hours each night. But then the other day he was with his friends and he rang me, and I felt out of place because he was talking to them more than me, so I said I was just going to go, and then he hung up on me. Ever since then he has been really strange towards me. Before he was kind of leading on that he may have liked me, but now he is just ignoring me. I messaged him and told him it was kind of getting obvious that he didn't like me, and he never wrote back. What’s wrong with me? First he told me he was happy someone as beautiful as me could like him, cuz he thinks he sucks, now he's pretending I don't exist. WHAT DID I DO WRONG??

First thing’s first – nothing is wrong with you!! In fact, the problem lies with him. Your crush is too insecure to handle the fact that a beautiful, fun, awesome girl such as yourself likes him! Just like you said, when you first divulged your feelings for him he was shocked because he didn’t deem himself worthy of your affection. Due to his lack of self-confidence and his fear of getting hurt, his defense mechanism is to push you away. Not a very becoming quality, right? Not the best way to establish romantic relationships, either. Your guy’s going to have to build up his confidence and learn that he really is worthy of a female’s adoration, or else, he’s going to find himself sans girlfriend for quite some time!
When your guy figures out the error of his ways and comes crawling back to you, nonchalantly explain that you’re only interested in guys who are good enough for you…and he’s clearly not one of those guys.
