"I don't want him back, but I want to make him jealous!"

Dear KC,

Oooh, it’s the old “I don’t want him but I want him to want me” approach. I know it well; let’s just say I’ve utilized this tactic once or twice myself!

Here’s the deal – and I speak from a lot of past experience – the best way to make him jealous is by living your life well. Sounds simple, right? Well that's because it is.

When we break up with someone, what’s the one thing we hate seeing more than anything else? Can’t guess? Okay, I’ll tell you: we hate seeing our ex happy! We hate knowing that he’s going contentedly about his life not thinking of us at all! And even worse? We hate watching him boast self-confidence as he talks to other girls! It makes us crazy. And even if we know we broke it off for all the right reasons, when we see him living life – and living it well – we can’t help but seethe with regret!  Right? Right!

So Sweetheart, let the Happiness Prance (as I affectionately refer to it) begin!  Laugh a lot, flirt with the boys, exude cool confidence and enjoy life!

And you know what they say: “She who laughs loudest makes all her exes jealous.”

Okay maybe they don’t say that, but I sure do!
