I like a guy that has a girlfriend, but I think he might like me. He is always sitting by me at lunch, looking at me, smiling when I look at him, sometimes he even tickles me. We have been friends for 3 years now. Is it wrong to like a guy that has a girlfriend?
Sometimes I flirt with him without even noticing. Today he told me that he wished that I was a cheerleader so he could watch me. But then he added, “No I am just kidding.” His girlfriend always has to have a boyfriend so sometimes I think that she is using him. Do you think he likes me?

Do I think he likes you? Yes! Should you do anything about it? No!
Sounds to me like your boy is definitely crushing on you but at the same time likes the stability of being in a relationship. He wants you, but he doesn’t want to give up his girlfriend. So instead, he’s going to continue to flirt with you (and he loves that you flirt back!) so he can hold you on the backburner in case things with his girlfriend don’t work out.
Uh-oh, sounds like trouble to me! You’re no backburner girl! You’re better than that! You, my dear, should be in the forefront. You are too fabulous to be a backup dancer in someone else’s relationship when you could be the star of your own! And if this guy doesn’t realize that, than he’s not worth your time.
Move on, girl, and take your rightful position in the spotlight!
